When I brought my son Ben (Binyamin) to Israel 14 years ago on August 16, 1994, my friend drove us from the airport directly to the home of a Gadol in Bnei Brak, as requested by Ben (through \"full support\" Facilitated Communication done with me as the facilitator; Ben is completely nonverbal and has no other sophisticated means of communication).  Ben met with this Gadol 6 times in the next 10 days and only on the Daas Torah of this Gadol did my son stay in Israel to learn Torah, first in Zichron Yaakov, then in Jerusalem.  The lead facilitator from Israel and a group of Torah Scholars carefully consulted with this Gadol and other Gedolim, mostly from Bnei Brak from the Litvishe Yeshiva Velt, to determine how to do this type of Facilitated Communication with my son and others in accordance with Daas Torah.  The above quoted statement was not facilitated by me but by the same lead facilitator in Hebrew in my home in Jerusalem in one short sitting, in the presence of several people including my wife and I.
