Man says that he will not pray for his enemy-- G-d says by praying for your enemy you are heaping coals of fire down on his head!   I can see this as being amusing as I think Hashem has a sense of humor as I see all enemies as bald headed eventually or badly singed and blistered tormented rascals receiving what they deserve.   Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem and its Jewish people and throw in a prayer for those who persecute you and trouble them into submission huh?  G-d is good and is still in Charge. AddReply(319730,"#32 sk - Never give up!","Michelle","Vancouver","07/01/08","For some time I had hoped that there would be a groundswell of support for a revolution in Israel.\n\nShouldn\'t Israelis have reacted already to everything that has been done to them, at least from Oslo on?  \n\nShouldn\'t the examples of Eastern Europeans challenging the powerful Soviet state been an inspiration to show them the Power of the People?\n\nWell... it didn\'t happen, and you may be right.  Maybe waiting for Israelis to rescue their country from the Bolsheviks is unlikely to happen.\n\nBut there\'s an alternative:  a revolution from the top.\n\nIf only the leaders of the right-wing factions stopped discussing minor points and far-off goals and concentrated on a formula such as the one I propose, one with a very limited electoral platform to address the life-saving needs of the patient first (reform and protecting the integrity of the land of Israel), then later on Israelis can deal with issues such as:\n\n-  Creating a federated state, or something like Switzerland, with plenty of local autonomy to satisfy the religious (who of course are  diversified too) and the seculars.\n\n-  Dealing with the very important issue of the Arabs within, whether citizens or not.  Their birth rate is a weapon used in a variety of ways, voting being the first one.  They can undermine the state in thousands of ways.  They must be relocated to Jordan, Egypt, the West, other Arab states, anywhere.\n\nThe Arabs in Judea and Samaria and Gaza want to emigrate (the polls say so).  They don\'t particularly like their own Palestinian culture filled with violence and endemic corruption. \n\nThis vision for a united anti-left force may seem simplistic but there are already signs that the right wing wants to unite .... for now.   \n\nAnd that is the only solution.  The only other alternative is to sit and watch the unraveling of Israel.\n\nOne more important point.  I believe in the power of the media, not just print and television, but also advertising, the internet, YouTube, feature films, theatre, popular music concerts .... everything.  Any possible way to reach the public is good enough if the message is worthwhile.  Because the leadership will need the support of the people, if only so that they can show up at the voting booth and cast a ballot for reform.\n\nOpinions change.  People can be motivated.\n\nThere was a time when smoking was \'chic\', even recommended by your doctor to calm your nerves.... Today smokers are regarded as pariahs.\n\nThere was also a time when only nuts would get up early in the morning to go jogging!  What an idea!  Today everyone is into some kind of workout.  \n\nAnd there was a time when being eco-conscious was a sign of eccentricity at best and dangerous extremism at worst.  Today everyone wants to \'reduce, reuse and recycle\' and it\'s considered politically incorrect to pollute our planet.\n\nEven the most impossible ideas can be sold - if only we use the right approach.\n\nIsraelis should not need media manipulation because they have the greatest motivation of all:  survival.  It\'s only a matter of making the idea of profound political change seem possible for them.\n\nThe message must be simple and unambiguous:  \n\nWe are uniting to save our country for our children.  Giving up part of our land signifies the end of Israel.  The enemy does not want part of the land, they want all of Israel.\n\nThat\'s it.\n\nLeave the religious component of the message out of it for the time being.  You need non-religious support, even the Israeli non-Jewish support (FSU gentiles, Christians, etc).\n\nFill the message with emotional content.  Create videos, attractive posters, ads.  Get celebrities on your side.  \n\nOrganize concerts to raise funds.  Raise funds among the rich and the not-so-rich by appealing to patriotism.  \n\nGet students involved.  Youth\'s enthusiam is key.\n\nHire the best American advertising agency to help you direct your campaign.\n\nThen go to an election as a united religious-secular front against the left.\n\nI really believe that the impossible (good and bad) can happen.  We should not be passive and give up easily.  \n\nWho would have thought that the Soviet empire would desintegrate, that the Berlin wall would collapse...  \n\nAnd there was the Holocaust... who would have thought that it would happen in the twentieth century, in the middle of civilized Europe...\n\nNothing is certain, everything is possible...\n\nThat\'s why the struggle to protect Israel and the Jews of the world will never end.  So never give up!");

Meanwhile, I sleep, eat, breathe, and exist all for Israel. The Left isn\'t stupid, and it\'s very accomplished in manipulation.  The only way I could imagine this working would be if sufficient Israelis implemented nonviolent direct action coupled with massive refusal to serve in the IDF, pay taxes, etc.  Yet there is no evidence whatsoever that Israelis will do so, in part because only the ideologically motivated would, and the ideologically motivated Israeli tends to be a leftist. There are more quarrels than points of agreement among you.  Food fights.  Yells and insults.  Even some scuffles here and there.  \n\nBut right outside your walls your enemies wait.  They have you surrounded.  You have a pretty good arsenal inside the house, so things are at a standstill ... for the time being...  \n\nBut your enemies are clever.  They have allied themselves with the town council and other organizations and they are in the process of changing the deed to your property so as to take it over.  \n\nFirst they want legal ownership of your land and all your vineyards.  They have been squatting there for a long time, basically unmolested.  They feel they have their legal rights.\n\nNext they want shared ownership of the house, followed by your eventual eviction.  You don\'t believe it can happen.  But you want to get along.  You keep trying to reach an understanding because they are neighbors, after all, and you need to live together in peace.   Or so you try to convince yourselves.\n\nWhich brings me to today\'s discussions.  The patriarch\'s sons and daughters are ideologically and strategically all over the map, so to speak.  \n\nSome sons have deep sympathy for the squatters.  This Jewish family is idealistic and compassionate, after all.  And sometimes very rebellious against the Patriarch\'s rules and religion.  \n\nA couple of the sons are in open discussions with the enemies aimed at sharing the house on equal terms.  Many of the children have been studying Political Science and are well versed in notions of democracy, community, multiculturalism, equality for everyone, and all sorts of politically- correct, relativistic concepts.\n\nOther sons meet in the attic and are almost at each others\' throats disagreeing on points of the Torah.\n\nMeanwhile your enemies and their allies are very busy plotting, digging tunnels, stealing your crops, aggressing -  sometimes fatally - unarmed members of the family, even children.  This fills many of you with enough fear that you are ready to compromise to almost anything.\n\nThis picture is not very different from what\'s happening in Israel, with nationalist politicians in disagreement over this point and that, while the country slips through their fingers.\n\nThe time to decide how Jewish citizens are going to live in Israel - whether under religious or secular law - can take place only AFTER you have secured ownership of the country. \n\nRight now the land of Israel is being traded by Israelis, Americans, Arabs, and even Russian, French and other \"guests to the discussion\", and no Jew living anywhere in Israel can feel safe enough to believe that his house will be inherited by his children, let alone his grandchildren.  Not even those living in Tel Aviv.\n\nTake a good look outside your window Israelis, and if you\'re not in a panic already, then there\'s something really wrong with you.  And I say this with my deepest love for ALL of you, the religious first, but seculars too (I\'m one, after all).\n\nFirst you need to elect a transition government that will have two single items on its platform:  Reform of the electoral system, the courts, etc., and a stop to all land giveaways to non-Jews, whether it\'s in Judea and Samaria or right in your towns in pre-67 Israel.\n\nOnce you have secured your land and gotten rid of the treasonous left that is destroying Israel from within -  only then you can give yourselves the luxury of determining how the country going to be governed and what is going to be done with the Arab population within. This one is fun too.  \n\nI second all your original list, particularly the coming of Moshiach.  Oh, how I\'d like to see the faces of those who have and continue to persecute Jews in the name of their gods and their \"truths\".\n\nBut in a more practical area, I\'d really like to see all opposition to alternatives to oil be overcome by popular rebellion.  Enough of the stranglehold by oil companies and the countries that produce it!\n\n(I don\'t own a car myself but I still have to pay higher prices for everything.)\n\nThe whole geopolitical situation would change radically.  \n\nWhy haven\'t the brilliant Israelis been at the forefront of this?  Their country\'s very existence has been at stake in large part because of the world\'s greed for oil.  A no-brainer:  replace oil by an affordable alternative and much of the pressure on Israel to appease the Arabs would diminish.   \n\nThere have been cheap and green fuel alternatives for many decades but they have been silenced by those who profit from oil. \n\nI think people have had enough.   Maybe this time it will happen.  \n\nSo that\'s my wish to be added to your list, Tamar. \n\nAnd of course, I hope you keep feeling better too.!");

[but very careful not to touch anything]  How great to see the new Temple showing rather than the dome of the rock in the photograph!   Three cheers!  * I would like to see All the different groups or sects of Jewish beliefs come together in one accord in faith believing in the true and Only G-ds plan for those who truly love him.  In the one, new , man/woman.  * I would like to see the whole area of the landmass that was offered to the Jewish people returned to them!    * I would like to see the Jewish/Hebrew people share the festivals and holidays with the world, who would want to listen; days to be honored in the days to come, as well as in the past.  *  I would most of all like to be holding hands with my cherished friends standing amidst, around  the fiery pit looking down upon Satan [in torment] who caused us so much anguish and sorrow as we cannot believe this is actually him=  written in G-ds Word.      I best stop at this or I will become greedy in my likes!   Bless All who read Tamars\' blogs!");

A full accounting of what the Jewish Agency leadership did and did not do in regards to the mass deportations from Hungary, which included of course many Jews who had fled there from Czechoslovakia.\n\n5. A conscious ramp-down by the leading megalomaniacs on these Blogs. That would include Fish and Mike, and to a lesser extent SK. \n\n6. Tamar and Dan deemphasizing the \'The NWO is doing it to us\' and instead more of the attitude of Pinner, Mike and SK about taking responsibility for the Jewish fate.\n\n7. The destruction of Shas. At this point, given the Kuntar decision and Yishai\'s statements, I would favor Mike-SK tactics to humiliate and ruin Shas and embarass those \'Torah\' Jews who support a travesty that this \'non-Torah\' Jew opposes.\n\nG-d Help Us.");
