Just as they don\'t have a right to tell us Jews where we can build and can\'t build, or who in our nation should have the right to vote and who shouldn\'t, why should we care about what their male/female policy is, and what that we say or complain is really going to change that?  If our own leaders had guts, they wouldn\'t change our opinion either with their threats and boycotts.\n\nBeyond that, you know nothing about Islam.  Any mumbling Jew who talks about \"common values\" between Judaism and Islam HAS NOT READ THE KORAN AND HADITH and knows nothing of Islam.   Looks can deceive, pal.  You wouldn\'t treat Judaism to such a superficial knowledge, so why extol supposed \"virtues\" of Islam if you only know it superficially? \n\n  You should know that Muslims are not interested in the Jewish concept of \"modesty.\"   Muslims are into the concept of Muslim subjugation.   If you had read the koran, and not just based a statement on sentimental inferences judging how Arab women dress, you might know that.  Unfortunately, the rabbi probably told you never to read Koran since it\'s heresy (what non-Torah book isn\'t heresy, I\'m not sure?), and I\'m sure he\'s never read it either.  \n\nSo the typical person on the street has two vague Islam references. 1. makes a vague reference to 72 virgins and everyone oohs and ahhs, but I got news for you there is plenty in there that is much worse than that, and it\'s not just that one little passage - the sexually explicit events, including Muhammad\'s personal exploits, are a foundation of the religion, all over the text.  Arab honor-and-shame complex. \n \nWorse yet is 2. when a religious Jew comments on \"positive\" modest Islamic dress as if they ought to be emulated.  They are precisely the opposite of modesty since they COVER THE WOMAN\'S FACE.   And we are not to emulate other nations.  Aside from that fact, if you knew Koran, you would know it is not about modesty but control, subjugation, and the Arab sense of \"honor\" and \"shame.\"  Horrendous honor killings of young girls also reflect that element.  Read up on Koran to know our enemy and know him well.  Otherwise shouldn\'t be a commentator on it.   \n\nThe tragedy is with all of today\'s focus on tzniut in Orthodox Judaism (rightly so, not counting the extremes), Muslims somehow appear \'positive\' to those who are not in the know.  And the truth is that most nations like Kuwait are full of hypocrites and are some of the worst sexual offenders in the world with the plethora of sex-slave trade and whorehouses, frequented by those oh so modest Muslims who are probably 85-90% of the state\'s religious demographic.  Kuwait is even talked about because it has oil.  Otherwise an impotent, irrelevant backwater medieval Muslim enclave.");

So all women are automatically chattels because they either belong outright to their husbands or they are chattels because they are single and therefore can be bought and sold on the open market. Have I understood this correctly?\nFrom what I have heard and read, women don\'t usually head for the Middle East with the intention of setting up shop in the oldest profession; most of them come looking for honest work and end up being forced into prostitution against their will. And most of these unfortunate women are smuggled in across the borders, not brought in through “regular channels”.\nOh yes, and what if anything is being done about the condition of forced prostitution in Kuwait (which exists quite extensively), apart from stoning the forced prostitutes to death and allowing their pimps to continue pimping?");
