Reexamine the \"hitnatkut\" and the battle they oversaw in Amona against defenseless revenants - just ask the 2 MKs who were there and got beaten. Besides this, their demonstrations near the \"Separation\" Fence that leave security personnel with black eyes and worse, their tire burnings, their road blockings...I could go on...are hardly mentioned in the media. These are the spiritual descendents of those in the 1930s and earlier who supported the British when they let the Arabs wreak havoc on the Yishuv over and over again. \n\nOnly when the Jewish Right has done any of these things, are they noticed and shunned.  Didn\'t you notice this, Dr. Klein?\n\nProf. Shapira\'s conclusion is rather lacking, and the Left\'s position, hypocritical. The Right doesn\'t even exist for them in the pre-state days.\n\nShamefully, today in the Israel [...]patriots fear for their liberty and safety. We need a real alternative (call it what you will) willing to stand firm on its positions.");

But, in addition, I see something more, something which many might think is shtuyot, but I know is very real. THIS LAND WAS GIVEN TO US BY HASHEM, to live in, to work, to keep mitzvot while living here. Mitzvot take on an added dimension when kept here. Life takes on an added dimension here. Meaning & purpose take on something added.  This is not something rational, although acting on it is rational enough.  People without this knowing, from inside, are willing, and in fact, must think like Prof. Shapira.  Perhaps all of us must work within her thinking, but only to a limited extent.  The bottom line, which we must NEVER forget, is WHO sent us here and WHY.");
