AddReply(435893,"Hello","Mike","Texas","05/13/09","The real issue here goes all the way back to Abraham, Isaac and Ismael. The decendents of Ismael want their first born birth right. It is a brother against brother struggle. Not about land or worship sites. God loves ALL his sons no matter what their origion and wants peace for all. I urge you to take the time and research just \"who is\" Jesus? And just what does he want from you? If you take the time and truely research this issue, you will be very pleased. For myself I cannot embrace any religion that espouces the deaths of any peoples. God has called us to peace not war. I hope you will be very objective in your research and if you agree with me, then tell others and help them find the answer.\n\nAll my best to you and your family....");

Joel 3.2 - \'I am against those who divide my land saith the Lord.\' Anyone with a room temp IQ can understand this. Obama has just said, \'america will never go to war against Islam.\' If this is so, then responding to Pearl Harbor was a huge mistake.");

If my suggestion is adopted they will all be living together in an area that comprises about 80% of the former territory of Palestine as equal citizens with equal rights and obligations. If this doesn\'t suit them and they want to carve up the 80% of Palestine they have in some further act of self-determination then they will do so and Israel will have to deal with that circumstance when it arises. But there is an immediate problem that needs to be dealt with - how to separate the Jewish and Arab communities living in the West Bank without anyone having to leave their homes. The creation of any new Arab state may happen later.They rejected it between 1948-1967.Who is to say they will want it in the future?");
AddReply(434047,"#To dav lev","david singer","sydney","05/08/09","A thoughtful contribution to the discussion thank you. The issues you raise should be discussed between Jordan and Israel within the framework of face to face discussions as to the allocation of sovereignty in the West Bank between Jordan and Israel. I recognise there will have to be security guarantees to both Israel and Jordan to ensure the long time survival of both after the international border between Israel and Jordan is redrawn.This is what negotiations are all about. But let Jordan and Israel sit down and try and redraw the boundary between them and deal with the serious problems you have raised within the context of reaching an agreement of where the new border will be.");

However  if we don\'t try to avert your doomsday scenario then we are all done in.I find it interesting to see the common response to my proposal as\"Jordan doesn\'t want it so why waste time proposing it\" Israel is continually dragged screaming to the negotiating table in an effort to negotiate a settlement. Jordan must be similarly pressured to sit at the negotiating table with Israel and we all might be in for a big surprise. To let Jordan butt out simply because it says it is not interested indicates that those who allow this to happen might be smoking dope. ");
AddReply(433772,"Jordan and Israel","Peter","South Carolina","05/07/09","I think the writer is dead on accurate. A negotiated settlement between Jordan and Israel may be the only way to solve the Palestinian issue. At some point in the future, the Palestinians will realize that they will never achieve a state instead of Israel, nor will they have a state that creates indefensible borders for Israel, and that includes having Jerusalem as their capital. It\'s never going to happen, because this land is far too small to split among peoples that are hostile to one another. Israel is also not about to commit national suicide, especially after the event of the holocaust. The better solution is a negotiated settlement between Jordan and Israel. ");

Abdullah, like his father, wants to extracate Jordan from the conflict...( this is Israel\'s problem ). But can he? A Fatah (or Hamas) dominated W. Bk, will be the Trojan Horse..for the Kingdom. An armed Palis 5th column will, as in Lebanon, take over that country..US aid notwithstanding. However, uniting Jordan with the W. Bk, also has problems...(what about the Gaza Strip?). The Allon Plan modified..no right of return, a united Jerusalem with holy sites under Jordanian/Vatican control..with Israeli security, might be an alternative. Bottom line: Jordan won\'t accept 3.0 more hostile Palestinians bent on murder, violence and replacing Abdullah\'s kingdom. ");
