The fact is the \'peace\' we have now with the Egyptians and Jordanians is very conditional and shaky. It is a cold cold peace. And in fact it may well be true that the other side will not , ever make peace with us. But it may also be the case that the only way of somehow getting us out of a situation which is simply damaging to us , and dangerous for us is by going towards a two- state answer. If that were the case I believe it would be imperative for lines to be drawn in such a way as to make as small as possible the size of the Arab minority in Israel. I do not share the feeling that an Arab minority of  thirty or forty percent or even twenty percent is really morally right for a Jewish state. \nIt may be that the two- state answer however unsatisfactory is the best alternative for us.");
