My state (Cal) has 38m people, 3m illegals. 11m are Hispanic (mainly from Mexico or their offspring). 11m Hispanics DO have considerable influence on the rest of us. Millions of \"whites\" have relocated to border states. Israeli Jews cannot relocate similarly. They are basically stuck. Our immigration laws have tightened. Few Jews remain in the old Soviet Union. However, I have suggested that Israel needs 1-3m more Jews, all persuations., doesn\'t matter. To the entire world, a Jew is a Jew is a Jew. Only we discriminate..don\'t fool yourselves folks. \"Its only the garb\" as gentile think and say. Kassams and Grads do NOT discriminate..from Bnai Brak to Eilat, from Haifa to Ashdad to Safed. Get it!");

A state ID card might help...not able to be reproduced illegally. You say the Mormon marriage is allowed. I say, why? Perhaps allowing those Russians to convert to Judaism (if desired) under less than Halachic requirements, would be adviseable? As far as who is a Jew, EVERY and ANY Jew, of a Jewish mother, is a Jew, if not practicing or perhaps lax. Living in Israel, believing in G-d, observing the Sabbath, giving charity..(the 10 commandments) makes one Jewish. I mean, the Haredi don\'t recognize Israel or observe it\'s memorials (to the dead). So! Let\'s not cut our noses to spite our faces. Sharon was right: 1m more Jews within 10 to 20 years...Jews who accept their Jewishness..would be beneficial. Israel, unify!!!");

All the above are recipes for Israel\'s destruction, peace by piece. The Arabs have been outsmarting Israel since Intifada 2. Rabin/Peres were tired (they admitted it)., thus Madrid and Oslo 1 and 2. Is Israel better or worse off today? Think about it. When Iran tests their atomic bomb..if successful, everything changes. The fear of attacking Israel will end. What is next, a surrogate cell explosion in downtown Tel Aviv? Unless Israel firms up it\'s approach, puts teeth into it\'s statements and actually unifies the Jewish world...look for real problems. In practical terms we can be only talking about the West Bank. \n\nThe issue of non Jewish non Arab citizens in Israel is open to debate since many of those have their children grow as secular Israelis, means native Hebrew speakers. In terms of loyalties and self identification these people tend to identify with Israel and not with the Arabs. Many of these are even more right wing than regular Israelis are. If it comes to the demographic race vs the Arabs these people should be  counted with the Israeli side.");

Would it be possible to set up a volunteer organization that would - in a very legal and diplomatic way - take on this task that politicians consider too hot to handle? They could provide information, raise funds, give generous grants to families, and do all the coordination necessary to facilitate their exit. \n\nPerhaps, once this shows signs of success, the politicians, including those in government, will feel emboldened and help out.\n\nThis should have been done during the good years, before the financial meltdown, but considering how much European governments love their Arabs, how could they refuse them entry.  But they are not the greatest obstacle. The Israeli government is, by its refusal to tackle this issue.\n\nIt\'s not easy but it must be done.");

You said that the reason for the reluctance by politicians to speak out in favor of Arab emigration is fear of being labeled racists and of being outlawed. You\'re right. It has happened before.\n\nConsidering that according to Arab polls, many Arabs living on Jewish land have expressed their desire to emigrate, assisting them in this regard would be a win-win solution.");

Massive aliyah under the existing Law of Return actually reduced the percentage of Jews among Israeli citizens.\nIsrael needs to be proactive in improving our demographic situation; here are some options:\n1.  amend the Law of Return\n2.  apply child allowance to Jews only, say through the Jewish Agency\n3.  provide financial encentives for arabs (especially citizen arabs) to emigrate\n4.  provide a free Israeli university education to any arab female with a required course in feminism\n5.  settle more Jews in heavily occupied arab areas - arabs hate that - it destroys their morale.");

The percentage of Jewish citizens in 1988 before the massive Russian aliyah was 81.7%,  Today, it has DECREASED substantially to 75.6%.  The Russian aliyah included substantial numbers of non Jews.  During this period, the citizen arabs MAINTAINED their 19-20% of the population due to high natural increase and marriage of territory arabs with citizen arabs.\n7.  Using Bennett Zimmerman\'s (American Research Initiative) estimate for arabs in Judea and Samaria (1.35 million), the percentage of Jews west of the Jordan not including Gaza is only 63.7 percent.  Using Israeli demographer Sergio DellaPergola\'s estimate our percentage is below 60% (including Gaza we\'re already at parity using DellaPergola\'s data).\n");

The 67% of Jews is misleading as you simply ignore the arabs of Gaza (a million or more?). This figure no longer refers to the percentage of Jews west of the Jordan River, nor does it refer to the percentage of Jews in Israel plus the \"territories\". Why not lop off the arabs of Shechem or Hevron to achieve an even rosier demographic picture.\n2. Moslem fertility among citizen arabs is still substantially higher than among Israeli Jews (3.9 births per female to 2.8). \n3. Your 117,000 birth figure includes non arab christians and those of no religion.\n4. An important determinant of population growth besides fertility is age at first reproduction (generation time). Many Ethiopian Jews have reverted to Christianity. Many of those counted as Jews by the census are seculars who feel only a remote affiliation to Judaism.
