CAUSA","12/02/08","I know there are readers at this website who have strongly disagreed with my assessment, and want Israel to strike at the head of Hamas, it\'s body and limbs. I frankly admit to having agreed with the disengagement, thinking it woudl move peace forward, I was wrong. But 8,000 soldiers to guard 8,000 residents? Not destroying the tulip and tomato plants was also a mistake. Instead, they were purchasef for Hamas by rich US Jews, another mistake. Israel has to prioritize it\'s offensive and defensive moves. Iran today used 60 warships and planes in a mock exercise to secure it\'s waterways and blockade the passages of oil. The US and Israel MUST call the shots, and take out Iran\'s military capability once and for all., destroying it\'s nuke sites, it\'s warships and missiles. That should be Israel\'s priority. Sderot is tragic, but not important. ");

In one video a little boy of about 6 screams Ima! into the night after his house is blown apart by a kassam.\n\nI will never forget that boy\'s screams in the night for his mother. Never.\n\nContinue to show the world what is happening in Sderot. Never stop until the kassams stop.");

The problem with your outlook (even if you totally disrgard the human rights of Sderot residents), is that no nation can tolerate cross-border attacks on its civilian population and remain intact. If Sderot folds, and it will fold eventually if the situation does not change, then it will indeed be Ashkelon\'s turn next. Civilian population centers at the periphery of a small country like Israel are essential to its national security. As for your naive hopes for \"peace\", I refer you to the web sites of Fatah, Hamas and Hizballah. Another great place to read a sane appraisal of the \"peace process\" is at www.JihadWatch.org.");

We should however, be glad that 45% of Kassams are being fired there from Gaza. Rather 45% than 10% with the balance at Ashkelon, etc. Look, this is all political. The US and Israel\'s allies are telling it to accept the major annoyance, and not exacerbate the tensions. Israeli firepower, (50 Merkavas) could totally destroy every city in the Gaza Strip. One tank column down Gaza City, is all that is needed to ruin it. Israeli artillery could bombard their cities with tens of thousands of shells (as in Lebanon\'s wars). Israel is hoping for a breakthrough in peace talks., which may happen after W. Bk elections in Jan. Obama\'s team, with Ross, Hillary, Jones, etc., may move it forward? Israel is biding it\'s time, for better or worse. If there is shock to some children, perhaps moving them inland might help. One backwards, 2 forward, as I see it. ");
