They were doing their best to daven along with the rest of us. Their chirping and singing added an extra dimension to our teffilot. I sat on my porch to do some extra prayers and they were right there along with me.  It was glorious. So when are you coming to visit?  Or to make aliyah?  We are waiting for you all.... Next year in Jerusalem, and Safed, and....");

I often wonder if Gush Katif was punished because they employed thousands of arabs daily in greenhouses, factories, construction, retail stores, gardening, etc.  We use to joke that there were more arab men than Jewish men in a given yishuv in Gush Katif during a weekday.");

Some spiritual significance - taking stock after 110 mph winds (180 k ?) people considered their lives.  Crime was down.\n\nAs we look to excitement the changes of Israel, we expect the prophets\' words to come forth as the world experiences turmoil in finances and focus on events there playing out.");

I feel sorry for the good folks in Jerusalem (and Tel Aviv, Beer Sheva, Petach Tikva, etc), who can only hear the wind in the trees and the song of the birds one day in the year. Round these parts, children play in the street 354 days in the year (384 days in leap years), and never see traffic lights, traffic jams, or inconsiderate drivers. Neither do they breathe in petrol fumes and carbon emissions - they breathe clean air throughout the year.\n\nBetter yet, since this yishuv has a policy of never allowing ANY Arabs in (neither \"Israeli\" Arabs nor Balestinians), no one here ever has to worry about terrorism.\n\nI am writing this at 8:15 on Friday morning, and the only sounds around are birds singing. Since getting back from Shacharit almost an hour ago, I have heard one car in the distance.\n\nA typical day here in Kfar Tapuach");
