He prevailed, and since then I\'ve been saying its the best argument I ever lost. Not having an idiot box in our house has saved our family! You don\'t have to be hareidi to realize that TV is a negative influence on the family and human intelligence.\nTV also enabled the govt to brainwash much of the Israeli public to accept Disengagement as inevitable, when in fact it was, is and always will be, a suicidal policy. It\'s not a matter of \"shooting the messenger\"; TV doesn\'t reflect the truth as much as it creates a comprehensive false vision of the world in which abominations become cool and responsibility appears foolish and perhaps impossible. Let\'s stop buying into this \"culture\" and seek something authentic and healthful instead.");
