In truth, it\'s very dangerous. It\'s an embarrassment to its people and to the world. Look at all the opportunities for improvement Mr. Winston addresses in his excellent commentary. I pray the Israelis open their ears and eyes and begin listening when wisdom speaks. May our God bless Israel and its people.");

AddReply(312996,"Israel already has a network of desalinization plants","Walter OBrien","Boston, MA","06/05/08","These are under the supervision of the Ministry for the Environment.  They are six-stage flash desalinization units which are oil-fired and typically deliver less than 5 ppm total dissolved solids, like any other ship-board style flash desal unit. They have no moving parts and no filters. They are just big steam kettles with cooling coils.  You have to shovel out the glunk by hand once in a while.  Big deal. RO doesn\'t work, steam diesel does.\n\nThere\'s about 70 of them.  Would you like a map? ");

AddReply(312617,"\"Gifting\" water to Jordan","Said","London","06/04/08","What gift? Israel uses 97% of the Jordan\'s (river) water, whereas Jordan has an agreement on the Yarmuk (tributary to the Jordan), with Israel. The Jordan river runs through both countries; Jordanians use 175 cubic meters per capita per year, whereas Israelis use 330 m3 almost twice the amount (both figures include industrial use of water). So precisely what gift are you talking about? The gift that Jordan is allowed to use the water from a river that runs through its borders too?");
AddReply(312562,"didn\'t mention agriculture","chava","yerushalayim","06/04/08","Agriculture wasn\'t discussed in the article. The government is discouraging agriculture in general, rather than encouraging proper crops and use of *treated* water from sewage, water which would otherwise be wasted. It\'s IMPORTANT to continue our own agriculture and be at least a little bit independent, especially since the world hates us.  \nThe article also didn\'t discuss conservation -- by municipalities and by individuals. LOTS of education is necessary, as well as price of water that encourage conservation. People were much more careful 60 years ago. We can do it again!\n");
