AddReply(289253,"The difference about sacrifice","Yitzkhak Mezuza","Jerusalem","03/20/08","The idea of one or few being sacrificed for other\'s sins is menthioned in Jewish learnings of our history. Perhaps the ten martiers who we read their life story on Tisha BeAv is an example that Sadighim were taken away from us because we did not deserve to have them among us and they were taken away inorder to save Am Israel. The Cristianity and Islam have taken this this idea and wrongly applied in their idealogy. There is a huge, big, very very big difference between what we declare about one or many being sacrificed and what other faithes claim about their sacifices to their gods. In our faith we do not volentier ourselves or others to be sacrificed to HKBH. The Sadigh who was murdered was chosen by HKBH to be taken away because we did not deserve to have him among us. Other faithes they claim they are in control to have themselves or others being sacrificed for whatever crazy reason ");

Please ask your local Orthodox Rabbi for a fuller explanation. Any Orthodox Rabbi (particularly Chabad) will be happy to clarify this for you. And good for you that you returned to Judaism. Modest description, OK. But do not demean authentic grief with hyperbole.\n\nSuch praise is opposite to an anonymous gift: the dead can’t receive it; the giver gets the gift of self-promotion. \n\nAlso #11, raving about the “whore Bush,” and similar language that any fool, including one trying to demean us, can utter, does not help the dead. \n\nWhat helps them? Just for starters: why wasn\'t that Yeshiva guarded by the POLICE? Does it take a rocket scientist to see it was a likely target? Why, as has been asked, has the Israeli gov\'t armed these terrorists for years? Why isn\'t the IDF permitted to root out and crush the terrorist organizations?
