This is Terror, psychological warfare. \n\n1) Sderot is already partly evacuated. It works! \n\n2) It shows the Israeli government as ineffective in protecting the population. Makes one think: we\'d better negotiate with Palestinians and give them what they want so they\'ll stop the terror.\n\n3) It proves to Israelis how the US and the entire world just do not care when the Jews of Israel are the victims.  Only when the Arabs suffer.  Lesson for the future:  Better to negotiate than to find oneself all alone, with no supporters anywhere.\n\n4) Very importantly:  it keeps the IDF pointlessly retaliating (with \"measured responses\") against Gaza, thereby keeping them agitated, hateful, and loyal to Hamas.\n\nKassams are all about politics, they are not primarily meant to injure the Jews.  If they wanted that, they could have used worse weaponry.\n\nThe best weapon at the terrorists\' disposal is the media, American and European leaders in the pockets of the Arabs, and above all, the centuries old anti-Semitism that still pervades the rest of the world, added to the always useful Jewish self-hatred.  Without firing a single bullet, Olmert is signing out large swaths of Jewish land, promising to give away Jerusalem, a corridor between Gaza and Judea and Samaria, the Golan, and, since he\'s on a roll, why not accept thousands of Arabs into Israel, as a gesture, of course.\n\nSo this is not about the Kassams - it\'s about the Arab/American Grand Plan:  dismantling all of Israel.\n\nAnd as far as international law is concerned - you don\'t understand.  Law, human decency, none of that matters to anyone except the nationalists in Israel.  Not to the terrorists and not to their appeasers.
