Firstly, although most will deny it, the US is the tribe of Ephraim that also encompasses the ten Northern tribes. Once you can grasp that you just need to read the whole book of \'Hosea\' which is Ephraim\'s own book. You will see that although they have been, and are, a favoured son of God, they are described as foolish doves, prostitutes and a people who turn back at the opening of the womb or a time of critical importance.
