AddReply(55972,"never ending","John","b","06/13/06","The situation is very complex. While the Arabs will continue to attack, sometimes small and sometimes great; the western powers will continue to prevent Israel from mounting a serious defense. Eventually, Iran (if not stopped) will get the BOMB. They don\'t see the problem with using it. To them death is eternal life. The Mullahs will be provided for in any event. Hopefully Israel will be able to to take the missiles out before they do any local damage. Of course, even then the world will not tolerate an Israeli counterattack. Until the final redemption Israel will remain the worlds wiping boy");

Russia too helped move Iraq\'s weapons into Syria and has to be factored into the Cold War (not new; really just another phase of the old).");

Why do Israel have to bow down to American or European pressure and not start a war with IRAN, the number one state sponsoring nation at the moment before they are arm with Nuclear Weapons. What has the EU & America done to prevent terrorist from attacking Israel, nothing at all since the birth of the nation Israel, except only to act as the arbitrator for peace deals and land concession which so far has failed miserably. Israel must attack Iran & Syria now before it is too late. Afterall, the EU and Americans won\'t loose in the event Israel is attack later by a nuclear IRAN. Act now and start a war with IRAN. When the war starts, I am sure big brother American will help. Unfortunately, the way I see it, the pride and will power to attack IRAN or other terorrist  sponsoring nations is no   longer there with the Israeli and American leadership.");

But this is not due to any similiar fear of being nuked by a superpower, which Iran is not yet. It is just shortsightedness of US leaders. It is also our foreign dependance Saudi oil. ");

Lee Kaplan is one of the few top-notch investigative journalists who can always back up his stories with irrefutable facts.  It would behoove those in power to head the warnings that are so apparent in this article, and not allow Israel to be \"used\" again. The time for so-called \"measured response\" is over. The only stopper we have is to use some Israeli \"Shock and Awe?.  We need more information from Kaplan and others like him who are unafraid to stand up to Arab terror.");

There are 12,000 missiles with poison gas and germ warfare heads in Lebanon and Syria under proxy control of Hizbollah. Were Israel to attack Iran, there is the potential of them attacking Tel Aviv  and \nIsrael\'s main population centers. If Israel attacked Iran the Iranians woul probably release them.The only alternative would be the IAF taking them out but then you have a wider war. Why else would Israel tolerate these barrages of smaller Kassems and constant probing attacks with only token responses?");

Even more dire than Lee Kaplan\'s prognosis is the distinct possibility that Israel will be overrun by terrorists as she foolishly narrows her borders. \"40 Kassams a day\" is only the beginning. It will get far, far worse -until Israel is forced to retaliate massively or die a slow death. Iran will have nuclear weapons but never use them -she will instead arm others who will. It\'s not a pretty picture. ");

I had not read or heard of the CIA estimates about the outcome of a future Israeli war against \'Islamic states\'. Nonetheless the article has at least one major error. i.e . the claim that Hizbollah missiles provide \'parity\' to Israel\'s weaponry. This is simply way off. Secondly, the overall thesis of the article that the Americans or Israelis will accept a nuclear Iran seems to me highly questionable. It is simply not in their vital interests to do so.");

But tiny Israel is not the United States where money as everywhere calls the shots. Lee Kaplan\'s insight as to what is in store for Israel and Israelis is on the mark. We must  gird our loins for the next thirty to fifty years and sacrifice our children to the God of terrorism and appeasement due to earlier actions of stuoidity from whence we may never be able to recover.");
