Then, Chomsky was becoming well-known as a linguist, but not yet as a \"philosopher.\"  Many of my fellow students and myself found his sexist liguistic theories to be mistaken because they were based on incomplete and inaccurate data. I don\'t know if he is admired today because no one understands his liguistic work and assumes it is great science or because they want to believe his Jewish anti-Semitism.  In either case, Chomsky\'s reputation is foul.");
