AddReply(152291,"A Win-Win Solution - Part I","","","08/03/04","For clarity, I offer the following amendments to this very important article:\n\nThe Arabs often claim that they were the original inhabitants in the land of Israel. Actually, Arab invaders did not enter the land of Israel until about the year 638 {C.E.}, while Jews had established their first commonwealth under King David, with Jerusalem as their capital, over 1,600 years earlier. Archaeologically, the entire land of Israel gives testimony to the ancient Jewish presence, but there is no evidence of any ancient \"Palestinian {Arab}\" presence. ");

Completing the exchange of populations that started in 1948 with formation of the modern state of Israel and expulsion of hundreds of thousands of Jews from the arab countries. It is vital for Israel to expel its arabs the same way the Jews were expelled. The thought of this inevitability must become more and more ingrained in the brains of everybody. Only when this issue will be raised and resolved properly, can there be security for Jews in Israel. Peace hopefully will come afterwards, BH.");

There is no reason to assume that because these bodies insist they are clothed that this is the case.  As pointed out in the article, they are naked and their PC assumptions of a land for peace settlement of the arab war against the Jews is a complete nonsense.");
AddReply(152287,"Sad but True","Danny","Kiryat Shmuel","08/03/04","Rachel, I anxiously anticipate the publishing of your plan but I must warn you that some of your underlying premises are false. (1) There is a group of people who define themselves adamantly as Palestinian Arabs. To say that they only exist for political reasons, and only since the 60s is a moot point since they exist now. (2) No one has ever said that Arabs NEED more land. Land for Peace was simply the terms of the deal as stated by the \"Palestinian\" representatives. If you ask Bill Gates to trade money for software, it would be hard to convince him to just give you the software because he already has more than enough money. (3) While the Palestinian propoganda machine is overactive, I don\'t think anyone in the world leadership, even the EU or UN feel that the Palestinians DESERVE even the Gaza strip based on ancient claims. What many people, including Ariel Sharon, believe is that giving them land which they DON\'T deserve will \"shut them up\" or at least give Israel the chance to deal with the Arabs more harshly if they continue violence. Now, niether you nor I nor any IsraelNN reader believes this will work, but apparently that is up for debate and Sharon\'s side is winning. In any case, it is wrong to assume that the current peace failures have anything to do with the legitimacy of the Arab claims. (4) Your demographic statistics are not relevant. No peace plan EVER has taken into account results for a CENTURY down the line. Furthermore, if only the 28 million Jews of 2104 occupied all of Israel, Lebanon, Syria and Jordan things would still be QUITE over- crowded. (of course demographic statistics like this also state that Europe will be depopulated except for muslims by then as well.) Over population is a worldwide problem and Israel and the Arabs will have to deal with it then the way Bangladesh has to deal with it now. That kind of analysis, though, belongs on planned parenthood\'s website, not Israel National News.\nIn summation, your assumption that the myth of a longstanding Palestinian people and their rights to Israel have influenced policy is incorrect as these facts are irrelevant in the current crisis. Only the present situation really matters. Your demographic argument against the \"two state solution\" is also faulty because you make unreasonable long term predictions which could never be accurately taken into account in negotiations. However, while your premises are mistaken your  theory is correct. Oslo and the Road Map don\'t work because, well, because they don\'t work, and radical thinking would be a necessary and welcome change to the \"escalating cycle of peace-plans\". I look forward to hearing your suggested solutions.");

The PA Arabs and the Israeli Arabs will never be happy in the Holy Land of Eretz Yisrael.  Our petty politicians should resign and the Jewish people should finally realize that Bush is not pro-Israel because he is pro-Palestinian, thus he is pro-Islamic killers as long as their killing Jews.");
