But especially those disagreeing with Haaretz should be proud of the freedom Israel has achieved. \'Every day of the week Haaretz makes its comments available to the world\' - just like Arutz Sheva. This is good news! Because everybody has to work harder on their arguments and rethink own and different views. It\'s a shame if some narrow-minded people denounce Haaretz as \"Palestinian\", \"Non-Israeli-Newspaper\" and so on. Haaretz is something to be proud of, it is one of the significant differences to the Arab countries around, that suppress the different opinions of their people. Don\'t anyone wish for that kind of censorship, sharpen your arguments instead.");

The writer of the editorial would have the IDF first identify those shooting at it to determine if they are known terrorists and then reply. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n");

I write to them periodically to voice my frustration at the poison they pen. Where would these people be under Arab rule. Would these Jews be writing paper articles or changing toilet paper in public bathrooms. What they take for granted is the freedom they have to express their views no matter how sordid it is. They use that freedom to propagate their own demise and destruction as well as ours. Under Arab rule, would Yossi Sarid be a member of the Knesset? Would Ahmed Tibi defend his rights as a Jew? My family has lived under Arab rule. We spent generations building a small family fortune only to have it confiscated because we were Jews. We\'ve been there, done that and definitely did not like it.  This conflict has been a 60 year struggle between Arabs and Jews and will continue for centuries to come. There will be a winner. Israel will either be for the Jews or the Arabs. It\'s time these leftists wake up and smell the coffee, they should use their keyboards to defend Israel or they will be sitting alongside us on that long line to the gas chambers. We did not bring this war upon ourselves. It was forced on us. There is no solution except with our guns and strength. If we all don\'t unite left and right under a common theme and direction, we will fight  amongst ourselves in rhetoric while our country will be lost.\n");

Any self- respecting newspaper should be ashamed to have these repetitive and inane writers(Samet, Marcus, Sternhall, Doron Rosenbloom, ) on their list. But Haaretz is stuck in the past, and as David Hornik points out simply does not attend to the realities of our present situation, including of course the unrepentant Palestinian hostility and hatred to the Jewish state. \n");

AddReply(167325,"Haaretz, Does It\' Again","Joe Levi","Los Angeles, California","01/28/04","It should be added that the editor of Haaretz is often times interviewed on American (PBS) TV. His paper is often characterized as being \"centrist\". Centrist my you know what. This paper has done more to demoralize Israel than Islamic Jihad. I thought journalistic standards require fairness and unbiased reporting. Say when. With papers like Haaretz, who needs enemies. The paper in essence sees Israel as totally at fault, little fault lies with the Palestinian-Arabs. They are above criticism according to some in Israel\'s left-wing. Maybe Israel should elect someone like Netanyahu next time around, so that Haaretz will rue the day it demonized Sharon, his girth notwithstanding. He\'s good for Israel right now. ");
