The former is insurance that things will remain civil in the event of a marriage's failure; the latter an effort to ensure that couples are prepared for what should be the best relationship of their lives and maintain it, come what may. The Rockefeller Museum in Jerusalem is literally a trove of treasures of the rich history of the Land of Israel. Galilee resident Mitch Pilcer stumbled upon the 3rd century grave of the famous Torah scholar the Ribal- Rav Yehoshua ben Levi- on his property in Tzippori. Should it have remained undiscovered? The tension between religious sensibilities and scientific curiosity, plus a dash of ego, has made this news, maybe for the wrong reasons. The expellees of Neve Dekalim from Gush Katif are finally getting new homes. Rachel Saperstein extols the Lachish region where their future is being built and invites everyone to the cornerstone laying of Bnai Dekalim on October 5.

The 'Masa Kumta'- awarding the beret after an all night (34 kilometer in this case) march- marks the end of basic training in the IDF. Eve shares her thoughts after spending the morning with her soldier son at his Masa.
Efrat Mayor Oded Revivi conducted a drill today; the scenario was a virulent flu epidemic hitting his town. Representatives of many government ministries including health and defense were present as this was a pilot whose lessons will be applied to many other Israeli cities. He delves into the challenges of running a Judean Jewish community in these difficult times.

Hour 2
Lord, she was born a Ramblin' Woman. Eve has been very busy with her Israel advocacy work (and hence not enough with her radio show). She shares her experiences with Congresspeople and the staffers from her Washington DC blitz trip. It's not all dark, there are many people who do 'get it' in the US government. The Golan Heights- where the wine grapes are so excellent and the Jewish history is so deep.
