A7 Radio's "The Derech Eretz Show" with Rabbi Elan Adler
Follow Israel Radio on
This coming Wednesday, August 27th, is the first day of the Hebrew month of Elul, signaling that Rosh Hashanah is only one month away. Clinical social worker Joan Kristall, formerly of Baltimore, Maryland and now Efrat, Israel, speaks to us about how to make the most of this 30-day period. How can we become more of a mench? How do we take an honest look at ourselves; after all, we'd rather look closely at OTHERS and judge THEM- this personal stuff can be very intense. This is also a time when we think of people we have hurt and how to make amends. There really is a lot to do, and Joan Kristall shows us how to begin this journey back to our best selves.
