On today's Reality Bytes Radio with Josh Hasten, Deputy Defense Minister Danny Danon, says that he is planning to resign from his government post should Israel agree to release the final batch of terrorists as part of 'goodwill' gestures to Palestinian Authority leaders in order to continue US-brokered 'peace' talks. Danon feels that the demand to release terrorists - in addition to the latest report suggesting that Israel would release another 430 terrorists is simply 'blackmail,' being carried out by PA head Abu Mazen. Danon says that should he resign, he will remain an active member of the Likud party with perhaps even more flexibility to speak his mind on important policies effecting the future of the Jewish State.
Also on the program Elie Pieprz, the Director of External Affairs for the Yesha Council, who weighs in on the latest suggested building freeze in areas within Judea and Samaria in order to get the PA to agree to extend talks. Pieprz says the council is adamantly opposed to such a move and is also against suggestions made by left and left of center MK' s that the government should freeze building instead of releasing prisoners. Yesha is opposed to both the freeze and the release of terrorists.
Plus, Israel National Radio's Walter Bingham brings a report from the scene of the Jerusalem protest march against the terrorist release including personal interviews with bereaved family members who took to the streets.
