Aryeh Green is descended of Spanish Portuguese Jews who came to the American colonies in the 1700s. Raised in a strongly Reformed family, Aryeh was very involved in his Temple, leading youth services and working in their camp, but in college he found himself searching for spirituality.

While on a trip to the Soviet Union, Aryeh's meetings with refuseniks and visits to a secret synagogue and matza factory triggered an internal awakening. It was in Israel while studying to be a Reformed rabbi that Aryeh made a decision to become Torah observant.

Now the director for Media Central, a branch of HonestReporting, Aryeh works at providing an infrastructure and services for foreign journalists covering Israel, gaining good will and trust, allowing them to get the story accurately. "Accuracy is our biggest ally," he explains.

Tune in to meet Aryeh Green, a proactive, articulate person whose stories exemplify his main life goal, making the world a better place.
