The biggest snow storm in over a century smothered Jerusalem and the hilly areas with tons of snow. How did Israelis cope? We'll get a weather news summary from Arutz Sheva's TV/Video Director Yoni Kempinski, and hear from Israelis from all over the country on how they survived the storm, whether from torrents of wind and rain, or from heavy snow.
Afterwards Shifra Hoffman joins Tamar and talks about how the criminal and negligent behavior of the Hamas has caused flooding in Gaza, and how Israel had to come in and save the Arabs in Gaza.
Also, what is it like to be kept in a harem against your will, and held captive in Afghanistan by someone that you loved and trusted? Dr. Phyllis Chessler
tells you all about it in her newest book, "An American Bride in Kabul: A Memoir" She helps dissect the dangerous mistaken impression that the liberal left has when it comes to understanding the Islamic world and middle eastern culture.
Lastly, are you having fun in your marriage and is your spouse really that best friend that you've always wanted?
Susan Barth from Together In Happiness
tells us about a great 'date-night' to take your spouse to this next Sunday
evening Dec. 22nd
entitled, "Tools for a successful marriage". If your marriage isn't filled with fun and friendship, then these tools will enhance your relationship to help make it what it should be! This is a hotel event, with food, and it's free! For reservations and more details, click HERE
Tamar Yonah is the daughter of a Holocaust survivor. Her father survived the Nazi brutalities and after liberation, made his way to the shores of the British Palestine Mandate, where again fighting for his survival, fought in Israel's war of Independence. This made a great impression on her life and she too has been fighting for Israel by serving in the Israeli army & air force, and afterwards by becoming an activist for Israel and the Jewish nation. She has been a vocal beacon of light since beginning a prolific career in radio. She hosts The Tamar Yonah Show - Israel's most popular English language radio talk show. She also writes a biting and sometimes humorous, award winning blog that discusses current events, religion and politics. www.israelnationalnews.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/3#
