In this classic episode of Walter's World, we re-visit Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat's campaign promises. The mayor and city council should rightfully be commended for the positive improvement. Now take a listen to this episode from 2008 and hear his pre-election speech now that he has been re-elected to a second term.
Plus, you've seen him on Jaffa Road and Ben Yehuda street singing with just a microphone and a blue bowl for donations. Now hear the inside story of Shmuel Laser and some music from his full length CD Blues for Temima.
In part 2, Israel is no longer known only for sweet Kiddush wine. Our climate and soil produces some of the world’s best. Guided tours of the wineries are now on many visitors’ itineraries. Walter interviews some of the winemakers.
