Raised in a home of immigrants who made it their business to integrate so as to make a difference, Toby Willig is a person who toils tirelessly to make a difference in this world and in the lives of others.
In New York she was the national president of Emunah Women, and very connected in the political scene as well. After she retired, she and her husband moved to Jerusalem with some trepidation: would she be able to make as much of a difference in the world?
Her worries were unfounded. Twenty six years later, Mrs. Willig is just as active and influential. She learned that Jerusalem really is the microcosm of the world, and her volunteer activities have exposed her to a variety of types of people from all over the world.
Perhaps best known for her articulate, sometimes cutting and always pro-Zionist letters to the editor of the Jerusalem Post, Toby says that the perfect combination for making a difference in this world is a broad knowledge base and a sense of worldliness, combined with a strong and solid Torah base.
Tune in to meet this incredible octogenarian with the energy of dozens of women half her age, as she tells her story with panache!
