Almost every tourist to Israel visits Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Heroes’ and Martyrs’ Authority Memorial and Museum.  But if your itinerary did not include it, or you had no time or have not yet been to Israel, then you cannot afford to miss this programme, when you will have to put on your virtual walking  shoes and come with me on an unforgettable radio tour of Yad Vashem. I’ll take you through the museum, the Garden of the Righteous Gentiles, through the emotional Children’s Memorial, the Hall of Remembrance and The Hall of Names and much more.   This part features an interview with the Chairman of the Directorate of Yad Vashem  Brig. General (retd.) Avner Shalev

Even if you have visited Yad Vashem on several occasions, the combined three hour programme of last week and this week with its interviews of all department directors will give you a perspective and an inside view of the work of this important establishment, that you did not see before.
