This especially poignant, heartfelt and unforgettable edition of Temple Talk was recorded on the morning of Tisha B'Av, just hours after Yitzchak Reuven and Rabbi Chaim Richman, together with hundreds of other Jews, were denied the right to ascend the Temple Mount on this most significant day. Our hosts, in the midst of their fasting, share their feelings and insights - ranging from hurt and frustration, to consolation and hope... an expression of the very fabric of the Jewish experience, quintessentially conveyed by the month of Av. Joining them in the studio is Mrs. Rena Richman, who shares her thoughts about today's experience at the gates of the Temple Mount.

TISHA B'AV 2013: THE CHILDREN ARE READY II: On Tisha B'Av, the Jewish people mourn the destruction of the Holy Temple. Seated on the floor as mourners, the adults in the synagogue recite the traditional kinnot dirges. But is the goal simply the continuation of the mourning, for the sake of mourning? The children have a different idea of what needs to be done...

TISHA B'AV 5773: LOCKED OUT OF THE TEMPLE MOUNT: 100s of Jews who rose up early, and travelled long distances on the fast day were bitterly disappointed but not defeated by the police announcement, (by way of taping a note to the gate), that they were not welcome this morning on the Temple Mount. No consideration was given to the crowd who waited more than an hour in the hot sun for the gates to open, and no explanation was given as to why they would remain closed.
