On today's "Reality Bytes Radio, with Josh Hasten" Jewish Home Party (Bayit Yehudi) candidate Jeremy Gimpel says that he is excited about his party's soaring figures in the polls. Gimpel believes that while there are numerous well-intentioned Likud-Beiteinu personalities running for office, when it comes to building in the Land of Israel, their hands are tied because of those at the top of the party list. Gimpel also stresses the importance of having a Zionist Rabbi serving as the Israel's Chief Rabbi.

Also on the show, Shavei Israel director Michael Freund shares his inspiring story as he flew from India to Israel this week, along with 53 new immigranst from the Bnei Menashe Jewish community. They are descendants of the lost tribe of Menashe who have now arrived home in Israel. Freund says that hundreds more Jews are slated to come home from India in the weeks ahead.
