On today's "Reality Bytes Radio, with Josh Hasten," Aliyah Fever co-host Avraham Venismach talks about this Sunday night's virtual Chanukah party hosted by Israel National Radio. Avraham says that for him Chanukah symbolizes a re-dedication to Judaism and the Land of Israel - both in the times of the Maccabees, and today. Be sure to catch it Sunday Dec. 9th at 9pm.

Also on the show, an interview with Rabbi Dov Lipman who is on the Knesset list with the Yesh Atid Party headed by Yair Lapid. Rabbi Lipman says that his party is all about internal change in Israel in many arenas including education, equality in army service, and the religious/secular divide.

Finally Chaya Esther Pomerantz, Israel's most active college activist, discusses the World Union of Jewish Students Campaign "Hope for Chanukah," in which they have raised thousands of dollars in order to purchase toys for the children of Southern Israel who have been under rocket fire for over a decade.
