On today's "Reality Bytes Radio, with Josh Hasten," Shomron Liaison Office Director David Ha'ivri says that while NGO's are accusing the "settlers" of destroying Arab olive trees, a video is circulating proving that Arabs have been cutting down their own trees in order to blame the "settlers" and create a media event against Israel. Ha'ivri also says that at times, Arabs steal from their fellow Arabs thus harming their own livelihoods.

Also on the show, CBS News correspondent Ben Becker makes his first trip to Israel. Becker was impressed with the diversity in the country and explained how he felt safe here despite how most of the media portrays Israel as a place of constant violence. Becker's interviews from Israel - with a wide variety of experts in many fields will be sent to 80 affiliate stations throughout the US and aired in early November - hopefully opening eyes as to the realities of the situation here.
