The percentage of people who become depressed even for just a short time is quite high around the world, Sometimes the reason is biological, which affects the person psychologically as well. Other times, it is purely psychological, but either way, the it is important to understand the deeper reason for why we get depressed, and how the High Holidays can help make us less vulnerable to depression on a daily basis.
