On today's Reality Bytes Radio with Josh Hasten, Josh interviews Migron resident Aviela Deitch who details the horrible conditions in the area known as "lower Migron," where 50 families were recently evacuated to. Dietch says that several families remain homeless, while at the same time the community is having issues with their sewer system, drinking water (some people have become ill, possibly from unclean drinking water), a lack of space for the children to play etc.. Nevertheless Deitch and her fellow community members still have a smile on their faces and in fact during the interview she expresses a desire to help the community of Givat Asaf, which also might be in danger of evacuation.
Also on the show, One Israel Fund Security Director Marc Prowisor says that while the media might be focused on the potential of a '3rd intifada,' security personnel in Judea and Samaria are always on guard for a breakout in violence regardless of what is reported in the news. Prowisor also invites US Conservative and Reform rabbis to come on a tour of Judea and Samaria to see the realities for themselves - growing and thriving Jewish communities making a difference and contributing to the overall well being of the entire nation of Israel.
