Dysfunctional families, bad company or immoral influences lands young Jewish teenage girls on the street, often in prostitution to afford food or drugs. Many fall for the temporary generosity and charm of Arabs who entice them into their villages force them to live and dress as Arabs, to then abuse them both physically and sexually and don’t allow them back.
There are charitable organisations that try to rehabilitate those young people who fell between the cracks of society, and also rescue many from the clutches of their Arabab users.
