Audio: The Warped Zionism of Yariv Oppenheimer

I would have very much liked to say that Yariv Oppenheimer and his Peace Now (Shalom Akshav) movement are misguided or naive, but unfortunately I really don’t believe that to be the case. I believe that they, or at least their top leadership are very well aware of their unsustainable declared political agenda. But they are funded by foreign governments with an anti-Israel agenda [source 1, source 2, source 3] and are therefore obliged to promote a pro-Arab line.
I believe that thereis far too much money involved to give up the goose that lays the golden egg. It is, as I see it, a matter of greed versus the security interest of their country and it is the former that they have chosen. The debate heard in this programme is revealing. The listener may hear Mr. Oppenheimer in his own words from a debate recorded recently in Jerusalem.
At the 2012 Olympics in London two unconnected pairs of Badminton players deliberately played to loose their preliminary games in order to go for what was for them the more important. Consequently, they were expelled by the International Olympics Committee and can no longer take part in any further competitions.
I believe there is a definite parallel with the actions of these Badminton players and those of Mr.Oppenheimer & Co. I think Peace Now should therefore be proscribed as a security risk for the State and their previous activities investigated.

Walter Bingham was born in, Germany. Just days before the outbreak of WWII, with the help of a Zionist youth movement he was selected for a place on the ‘Kindertransport’ to Great Britain. Walter saw front line action during the Normandy invasion of Europe and was awarded the Military Medal for ‘Bravery in the Field’. In England Walter also acted in films including several Harry Potter films. On the day of his Aliyah in August 2004 he transferred his programme ‘Walter’s World’ to Israel National Radio as a weekly Magazine programme and it has been running here regularly ever since. Walter is an accomplished public speaker and was a member of a visiting panel of lecturers at schools throughout the UK, where he spoke on events in the Third Reich. He has also spoken at schools in the USA and addressed audiences in Israel.
