Sure, kids from "good homes" aren't out in the streets. They're at home with their computers and gadgets, spending enormous amounts of time in front of a TV screen or surfing the web. What ever happened to hide & seek or volleyball? As a result, children are becoming flabby both in body and mind.
Computers and TVs make life easy on parents, enabling them to "do their own thing." But is that why Hashem entrusted those precious tender souls in our care? So we can buy them iPods and iPads? Are we willing to let strangers with strange philosophies in life educate our children?
