Medal of (or meddle for) Freedom Can Shimon Peres bring home Jonathan Pollard?

This Wednesday U.S. President Barak Obama is presenting Israeli President Shimon Peres with America's highest civilian honor, the
Presidential Medal of Freedom. Can and will Mr. Peres leverage this occasion to secure the release of Jonathan Pollard before the ceremony
at the White House? Will Mr. Peres use his considerable influence on such an occasion to ask Mr. Obama for simple Derech Eretz and basic humanity for Jonathan, ill and rotting in jail for ALMOST 27 YEARS? What if Mr. Obama refuses- should Mr. Peres accept the medal or turn it down?

Also, was is the Derech Eretz connection to the Priestly Blessing, from last week's Torah reading?

Tune in and enjoy, and send your comments and feedback to Elan at rabbiadlerinisrael@gmail.com

Have a great week and keep that Derech Eretz thing going!
