Gershon Salomon was saved by angels when he was run over by a tank in a Syrian attack.  As the Syrian soldiers came in for 'the kill' on this wounded Israeli soldier lying under the tank, a miracle happened. Angels appeared eminating a bright light which scared the Syrian army soldiers and they ran away.  Before Salomon  passed out from the pain, he was told that he was to live, as he had a purpose he yet needed to fulfill.

Hear this dramatic story of how soon after this event, Gershon stood at the Western Wall after it's liberation in 1967, and knew what he had to now do:  start the movement to re-build the Holy Temple of Jerusalem.
Salomon also shares a special story when he was 11 years old, and the British arrested him.  Standing in front of the judge, this child gives the court a piece of his mind and tells the British what they can expect in the future - the end of their power in Israel.  A truly amazing story to share on Jerusalem Day!   (This show is a classic show from 2004)

Tamar Yonah is the daughter of a Holocaust survivor.  Her father survived the Nazi brutalities and after liberation, made his way to the shores of the British Palestine Mandate, where again fighting for his survival, fought in Israel's war of Independence. This made a great impression on her life and she too has been fighting for Israel by serving in the Israeli army & air force, and afterwards by becoming an activist for Israel and the Jewish nation. She has been a vocal beacon of light since beginning a prolific career in radio. She hosts The Tamar Yonah Show - Israel's most popular English language radio talk show.  She also writes a biting and sometimes humorous, award winning blog that discusses current events, religion and politics. www.israelnationalnews.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/3#   You can email Tamar at: Tamar@IsraelNationalRadio.com
