Tamar gives raw news coverage on the war in the south, interviews with residents under attack, and an official report on the wounded.
Miriam Goodman, a resident of Ma'agalim near Beer Sheva, tells Tamar of a letter she wrote to PM Binymain Netanyahu: 'Enough lip service' she says. It's time for action. If they can disengage Jews from Gush Katif, they can disengage Arabs from Gaza. To see more from the letter, click here.
A spokesman from MADA (Israel's emergency medical services) joins Tamar and gives an update on the wounded, and Chana, a resident of the city of Ashdod which got hit today, describes the heart breaking story of her son who is worried about his kindergarten teacher who is also in danger from the missile attacks. A 'don't miss' show.
Tamar Yonah is the daughter of a Holocaust survivor. Her father survived the Nazi brutalities and after liberation, made his way to the shores of the British Palestine Mandate, where again fighting for his survival, fought in Israel's war of Independence. This made a great impression on her life and she too has been fighting for Israel by serving in the Israeli army & air force, and afterwards by becoming an activist for Israel and the Jewish nation. She has been a vocal beacon of light since beginning a prolific career in radio. She hosts The Tamar Yonah Show - Israel's most popular English language radio talk show. She also writes a biting and sometimes humorous, award winning blog that discusses current events, religion and politics. www.israelnationalnews.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/3#
