At the second Forum of The International Committee for the Preservation of Har Hazeitim strong voices were raised blaming successive Israeli governments and Jerusalem’s municipality for the gross neglect of Judaism’s oldest cemetery on Har Hazeitim, the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem. Thousand of Gravestones were smashed and desecrated by human feces or used for urinals, paving and building stones, where donkeys walk and visitors are stoned by Arabs. Deputy Prime Minister Ayalon, the Executive Vice Chairman of the Conference of Major Jewish Organisations Hoenlein and US Congressmen Engel and Nadler were among the speakers. This entire programme is devoted to inform listeners about this deplorable state of affairs and to urge you to get involved, because the worst course of action is inacton.
