Itamar Marcus is director of Palestinian Media Watch.  Their just released book,Deception, analyzes the rhetoric and official public statements of Israel's 'peace partners' over the past year.  Just as PMW has documented since their inception in the mid-90's, there is no education towards peace among the Palestinian Arabs and their leadership, instead there is enormous incitement and justification of violence and jihad.  The Oslo generation is as vituperative and hate filled towards Jews as Nazi Germany, if you can believe it.  This must-read is making its way to decision makers in the West and hopefully in Hebrew soon as well.  Itamar and PMW continue to point at the elephant in the room and those of us who really want peace and co-existence, not just the illusion of both, need to be dealing with reality and not fantasy. Deception does just that.  www.palwatch.org

Music can be used to express virtually every emotion.  Israeli son, soldier, student, husband and father Elie Deutsch has released an album called Yedid Nefesh with songs inspired by his own life.  The Second Lebanon War was a major turning point for him when his songs were used at the time to raise money for northern families affected by the war.  The Expulsion from Gush Katif, the death of his grandfather and his marriage also provided him this talented guitarist with ideas and emotions that he has translated into song.  While others raise their kids to hate, Israelis do it differently.  The Chanuka message of light versus darkness still apply. deutsch.elie@gmail.com
