Michael Even-Aish is an educator and Tour Guide par excellence with tremendous knowledge of, and love for, the Land, the Torah, the people of Israel.....and an unusual side thing going on with snakes.  Turns out that the Palestinian viper- the slithery version- is deadly but easy to avoid if you follow some basic rules.  Living as he does on the Golan Heights also provides him with many opportunities to take people to Gamla, the site of a major battle in the year 0067 in a failed attempt to save Jerusalem and the Second Temple from destruction.  He shares insights gleaned from familiarity with the place and its historical record.
