Tonight, Doug's special guests are Professor Robert Desjarlais and Shaunti Feldhahn. Professor Desjarlais is an anthropologist who has explored many subjects, from Tibetan Buddhists in the Himalayas to homeless people in downtown Boston. Tonight he discusses his recent book, Counterplay: An Anthropologist at the Chessboard, which investigates the passion and drive that lies within the game of chess. How can we adapt chess techniques to the way we invest or how we live our lives in general?

In the second part of the show, Doug discusses the differences between men and women at work. Shaunti Feldhahn, author of The Male Factor, talks about how men and women view their office relationships.
