The Jerusalem based band Purimm performs for the Jewish holiday of Purim live! This is a special joint broadcast with Be There Israel. The band consists of Jonathan Fialka on vocals and bass, Rabbi Eli Ganz on vocals and rhythm guitar, Avi Ganz on vocals and piano, Leib Levnter on violin, Maury Moshe Epstein on lead guitar, and Akiva Gersh on drums. Hear about the deep message of removing your masks on Purim, and how just like the story of Queen Esther and Mordechai, a simple twist can turn a defeat into a victory. Plus, the crazy story of playing Shlomo Carlebach music for spare change at a remote McDonald's. Special thanks to Lorelai Kude and Steve Levine of RFN and the Jerusalem Media Group and the staff at Arutz 7 - Israel National Radio.
