How Israeli culture affects Americans and how certain parts of American culture getting to be more and more popular in Israel.

Sounds boring? Too scientific? Discussed by a dry researcher? Don't worry!  We will get to know about an American born poet, the late Reuven Ben-Yosef who refused to speak English at home and became a well known Hebrew poet.

In the second half of the show meet Josh Hasten, host of the Israel Hasbara Hour, and hear about the situation of football in Israel.

Gabriella Licsko is a lecturer on Jewish history and society focusing on different religious communities. She leads tours of different neighborhoods in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem as well as tours across the country. Gabriella holds a bachelor's degree in Culture Studies and a master's degree in Jewish Studies and made aliyah from Hungary in 2007. She hosts the Welcome to the Tribe podcast every Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Israel National Radio.
