In our first hour, we have Prof. Lawrence Schiffman of NYU. He's working to clarify the context of the Dead Sea Scrolls and the period of settlement at Qumran. Prof. Schiffman's publication "Reclaiming the Dead Sea Scrolls " is essential reading for understanding and working through the past 60 years of scroll scholarship. His lucid, fundamental presentation will bring your understanding into sharp focus. The book is available on Amazon and is highly recommended. In the second hour we meet Prof. Robert Cargill of UCLA.
