This week, Dovid Willner & Barnea Selavan invite to join us as we invite you to - can you believe it - touch biblical artifacts thousands of years old? Ancient manuscripts and letters? Where on earth can you do that? At the Living Torah Museum - 1601 41st. Street in Brooklyn New York- What!?! Brooklyn!?! Director Rabbi Shaul Shimon Deutsch shares fascinating stories of discoveries and objects - like getting the other half of the 1930's Lachish excavation collection that the British Museum missed... Call for a tour at 877 752-6286 or go to their
website. There is probably no one on the planet with the Torah, archaeological knowledge, and antiquities at his fingertips like Rabbi Deutsch.
Growing up in the Carpathian Mountains little Moishe Fischer learned Torah from his grandfather, including the story of Yavne and Jewish survival. Now as Professor of Classical Archaeology at Tel Aviv University, Moshe Fischer excavates Yavne's port city, Yavne Yam. His gracious and easygoing style, his fascination and enjoyment in uncovering ancient history, shines through in this far-ranging interview.
Come dig on the coast of Israel with Moshe (in 2011), be a dig sponsor get VIP treatment and learning, and in the meantime go to the excavation
website. Foundation Stone has worked with Moshe in connecting Tel Yavne to its ancient port.
