It is now 740 years since the Ramban came, and 1940 years since the western hill, the Upper City of Jerusalem, fell. We interview Mrs Honey Weiss, longtime Jewish Quarter resident, who together with Mr Josh Weiss, live in the renewed (since 1978) Jewish community - on the western hill. Josh & Honey are members of the Ramban Synagogue, which is either in the original building or is a continuation of the synagogue and community Ramban founded - connecting them to both of these anniversaries. Honey describes early life in the renewed Jewish Quarter and an appreciation of living there today.
In the second segment, Geophysicist Paul Bauman, of the Worley/Parsons resource and energy exploration company, shares his love of Israel, and the cutting edge techniques being brought to bear on archaeology. Paul describes the nature of his work and the types of scientific examination which can reveal structures and objects
underground. He sought an opportunity to improve archaeological technique by application of geophysics. Thanks to an invitation by Dr Richard Freund of the University of Hartford's Greenberg Center, Paul comes every year. The pioneering applications are shedding new light on Tel Yavne, Tel Usha, Bet Shearim, and most recently, Elah Fortress. Our mutual hope is that by groundtruthing the results, by excavating to understand what the instruments indicate, the archaeologists will be able to understand what lies underground and be far more effective and efficient in explorations and excavations.

Lightcatcher Productions is preparing a documentary that will examine artifacts related to the biblical text, and other topics. Jim shares his special insight and interests. David Willner asks about the recent claims by Jim Barfield regarding the Copper Scroll, the subject of Mr Long's latest film.
