The Yesha Human Rights Organization wants equal rights with the left-wing Machsom Watch group, which frequently posts activists at IDF checkpoints and hassles soldiers. "Machsom" means roadblock or checkpoint in Hebrew.

The Yesha group has asked Border Guard commander Yisrael Yitzchak to allow its delegates to talk with soldiers at the checkpoints. Yesha nationalists support soldiers' attempts to prevent terrorists and arms smuggling in the face of government actions that have removed more than 100 roadblocks and checkpoints in Judea and Samaria.
