More IDF Activity
A senior commander of the Tanzim Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades of Fatah - Yasser Arafat's and Abu Mazen's own organization - was taken into Israeli custody last night, along with a second Fatah terrorist. The two had been wounded in a gun battle with IDF troops on Friday, and were spirited out of their Shechem hospital room by an undercover IDF unit. The two terrorists were transferred to Beilinson Hospital in Petach Tikva. One of them, Othman Yunis, is known to be responsible for the deaths of at least ten Israelis - including, most recently, the suicide bombing earlier this month in Rosh Ha'Ayin, which took the life of Yechezkel Yekutieli, 43.

In other IDF activity during the night, soldiers arrested three armed men in the village of Jaba in the Ramallah district. The gunmen were carrying shotguns, IDF uniforms and other equipment. IDF forces combing the kasba area of Shechem this afternoon found and destroyed an anti-tank missile hidden in an apartment.
