Palestinian terrorists fired several times today at Israeli targets in Gush Katif - including an IDF outpost near N'vei Dekalim and the local industrial zone. No one was hurt, and IDF soldiers returned fire. Thousands of people are expected to take part in the town's Summer Festival activities, which begin today.
Border Police in the Tul Karem area identified and arrested a Palestinian armed with a sniper rifle last night. The detained terrorist, who was also carrying ammunition clips, was turned over to security forces for questioning. Additional searches in the area turned up a loaded pistol with a bullet in
the chamber.
